“Short Circuit” introduces a selection of French Short films from a new filmmakers’ generation intersecting brilliant comedies, fiction genre short works that will take you on a unique journey into young film creation from France.

The program includes Florine Clap’s “La Première”, a dancer warming up before a first performance. Rocco Labbé ‘s “Portraits de Maitresses” inspired by Charles Baudelaire’s “Le Spleen de Paris”. Quentin Perez’s “Requiem for My Father”, a monologue piece that reminisces about an abusive relationship between a father and his son. In “Senshin”, Aurélien Marra depicts an intimate portrait of father-son dynamics filmed on a Martial Arts backdrop. Pierre-Loup Docteur‘s “The Viewers” relates the weird relationship between a young photographer and an actress on the decline.
