Artists' Television Access

About Us

Artists’ Television Access is a San Francisco-based, artist-run, non-profit organization that cultivates and promotes culturally-aware, underground media and experimental art. We provide an accessible screening venue and gallery for the presentation of programmed and guest-curated screenings, exhibitions, performances, workshops and events. We believe in fostering a supportive community for the exhibition of innovative art and the exchange of non-conformist ideas.

By BUS: Take Muni line 14 down Mission to 21st Street, or Muni line 22 down 16th Street to Valencia and then walk, or Muni line J-Church to 21st Street and then walk.

By BART: The nearest station is 24 Street & Mission, but the 16 & Mission station is almost as close.

By CAR: A more affordable city lot is located on 21st Street between Mission and Valencia.

By BIKE: …and if coming by foot or bike, make sure to take in the extremely rich and colorful intersection of 16th and Valencia –just a few short blocks away from our storefront– for a wonderfully diverse array of bookstores and cafes and bars and restaurants, as well as the most amazing sidewalk-sales deals in the City. In fact, many of the film, video, and audio materials available there for a pittance later become magically resonant components of our own A/V shows…We channel the ‘Hood!
