Emily Lacy, Nu Normol, Froogy’s Groovies

Emily Lacy is an L.A.-based performer and artist who has been composing and collaborating for over 10 years. Her work employs video, tape loops, guitar, and variable sonic textures to create a new form of experimental folk. Prioritizing the relationships between politics, economics, language, and power, Lacy has made the rights of others central to her expression. She has toured extensively throughout the country and performed at such places as the Whitney Museum, PS1 MOMA, and MCA Chicago. You can find her here: http://emilylacy.net/
