OpenScreening: Now accepting submissions!

Do you have a film you’ve made recently? A project in the works you want some fresh eyes on? Something you made back in high school that you think is a hidden gem?

ATA is once again doing Open Screening on January 7th, and we are looking for your unseen masterpiece! Open Screening is where we invite local filmmakers (that’s you!) to show anything they have had a hand in creating (under 15 mins). The event is 100% FREE to submit to or attend, so why not send us that piece you’ve been working on. We love films and would love to see yours.

If you have any submissions or questions, send them to volunteer@atasite.org before January 3rd.
Livestream Premiere Thursday, January 7th @ 7pm PST

See you there!

Analogica 10 ///

ANALOGICA an online event scheduled for three weekends in December, fits the current times. Since in-person screenings and performances are not allowed, ANALOGICA 10 will be exclusively live-streamed, thus allowing for a safe, collective event. To join the 10th edition programming, just visit the ANALOGICA website.  Films will be screened only once per day, as in all standard editions of Analogica. Reruns will be available on the following day. As always, access is free.

https://www.analogica.org/

ANALOGICA invites you to screenings, live sonic experiments, super8-focused events, and found footage archives. Paradoxically, this year’s Festival will be completely digital.
However, this will be a chance for all of us to virtually reconnect and share the last bit of this unwonted year. We will be very happy to have you all again, in whatever form possible.

ANALOGICA is a platform for the investigation and dissemination of analog practices in visual and sonic experiments.

It is also a festival started in 2011 in Rome and now taking place during the last week-end of November in Bolzano, Italy.

Throughout the year, a selection of the best works screened at the Analogica festival travels in various places around the world  to provide encounters where artists working across disciplines (photo, film, sound, installation) can meet and exchange ideas about analogue practices.
