Artists’ Television Access is a San Francisco-based, artist-run, non-profit organization that cultivates and promotes culturally-aware, underground media and experimental art. We provide an accessible screening venue and gallery for the presentation of programmed and guest-curated screenings, exhibitions, performances, workshops and events. We believe in fostering a supportive community for the exhibition of innovative art and the exchange of non-conformist ideas.
On March 7, 2003,at Artists Television Access, the players of the See Monkey Sea Mask and Puppet Show did the last full show of their two-month, thirty-show tour of the USA. On March 7, 2013 there will be a show that commemorates that fateful day with an evening of entertainment featuring music by Hazy Loper, Shotwell Coho, performances by Jessie Roadkill and the Brothers Drum, and an unprecedented screening of video from the See Monkey Sea Mask and Puppet Show’s 2004 China Street Performance Tour!

Volunteer with ATA!
ATA is looking for volunteers to help with our Gallery and our Screenings. Volunteers run screenings, organize events, curate shows, and get stuff done. Volunteers can come to any ATA show for free. We need people who are creative, reliable, and willing to commit to 4 hours a week.
