Directed by Kim Bartley and Donnacha Ó Briain, The Revolution Will
Not Be Televised chronicles the tumultuous 48 hour overthrow and
return to power of constitutionally elected President Hugo Chavez of
Venezuela in April 2002.  Filmed from inside the Presidential Palace
in Caracas during the actual coup, the film exposes the dichotomy
between the overwhelming populist support for Chavez and the
coalition of Venezuelan business, media, and military elites
attempting to seize power.1 hr. 14 min. video, post-screening
discussion by Deborah James & others.
