Hugo Paquete is developing the field of visual arts and sound installation exploring the complex relation between the man and reality and the paradigms of language, perception and technology. His work carries us to one purified and synthesized language with the objective of constructing a new aesthetic of mental structuralism landscapes. He constructs this aesthetic in a surrounding noise of concrete music and ambient sound spaces and works with the conceptual relation with the objects where from the logic we reach the abstraction.

Since 2001 he has been working on an expanded concept of sound space and communication incorporating space according to its spatial characteristics in the narrow sense (acoustic, architectonic, sculptural, perspective, communicative and ambient). Beyond this, his installation works conceive space in its site-specificity, usually existing in several layers: a social layer, the communicative between emission and reception, and a situational layer exploring the concept of understanding of the reality and perception.

In some installations he explores this concept with several sound speakers and players giving different sound signals to the space to construct a more complex situation according to the conceptual explanation of the communicative space interception and brain selective information.

With “Space Dynamics” Hugo Paquete is interested in exploring the knowledge of the reality and the process of communication that go beyond the common perception. He uses elements from the city space to understand the conscience level that we have in the contemporaneity. He Explores the notions of dynamics and tension to represent a new city sound representation.
