Stephanie Young
Stephanie Young lives and works in Oakland. Her books of poetry and prose include Pet Sounds, It’s No Good Everything’s Bad, Ursula or University, Picture Palace, and Telling the Future Off. She edited the anthology Bay Poetics, and with Juliana Spahr, A Megaphone: Some Enactments, Some Numbers, and Some Essays about the Continued Usefulness of Crotchless-pants-and-a-machine-gun Feminism. Young is a member of the Krupskaya Books editorial collective.
Eric Sneathen
Eric Sneathen is a poet living in Oakland. His first collection, Snail Poems, was published by Krupskaya in 2016, and he is currently writing a book about Gaétan Dugas and Randy Shilts titled Don’t Leave Me This Way. New poems have been published by bæst, Bathhouse, The Berkeley Poetry Review, P-Queue and The Believer Logger. Eric is also a Ph.D. student in Literature at UC Santa Cruz, where he’s writing a dissertation on the queer literary history of San Francisco. With Daniel Benjamin, he organized Communal Presence: New Narrative Writing Today and edited The Bigness of Things: New Narrative and Visual Culture (Wolfman Books, 2017).
Asiya Wadud
Asiya Wadud’s debut collection, Crosslight for Youngbird, was published by Nightboat Books in 2018 and she her book Syncope will be out from Ugly Duckling Presse later this year. Her third full length collection No Knowledge Is Complete Until It Passes Through My Body will be out in 2020. Her work has been supported by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Mount Tremper Arts, and the New York Public Library, among others. She teaches poetry at Saint Ann’s School and leads an English conversation class for new immigrants at the Brooklyn Public Library.
