sub-terrain-imageAn exposition of video shorts from University of California Berkeley students in the Art Practice Department working with Azin Seraj, to explore the boundary wherein new media and social change intermingle.

In a collection of experimental, documentary and narrative, work presented utilizes video as a means to engage in artistic activism to create positive social change. Students were asked to consider the dissemination of power, of information and of social justice, and the tremendous potential this new medium has to subvert, as well as to transcend dominant discourses in public life.
