May 19th at 7pm join Tina Butcher, Lauren Anderson, Lacey Roberts, Heather Catalinich, Elizabeth Stephens & Annie Sprinkle for a nite of video, sculpture, installation, and performance art that explores the public vs private.
Tina Butcher’s performance will originate in the private space of the bathroom while a live feed of her actions will be projected larger than life inside the gallery. Also in the gallery space, Lacey Robert’s collection of harnesses and breast binders will be displayed alongside Lauren Anderson’s “Inflatable Hug” installation in which two people can stick their arms through an inflatable sculpture to hug individually or simultaneously. For the full duration of the show, Elizabeth Stephens and Annie Sprinkle will engage in a fabulous 3 hour kiss. Heather Catalinich also presents a video.
