Super 8 Militia

The Super 8 Militia is an organization for those urban guerrilla filmmakers of the Bay Area looking to shoot on the small film gauge. The process of making a movie is a team effort. The members of the militia want to help you achieve your artistic goals. Working on celluloid within a modest budget is always a challenge. We strive to help you meet this challenge of finding the right arsenal for your cinematic needs.

Headquartered at ATA, meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm. We provide telecine transfer services from 6-10pm every Tuesday and by appointment on other days. (1st roll: $15, 2nd roll: $12, 3rd roll: $10, every roll after that: $8) Please contact militia@super8mm.org for any questions concerning the telecine process, or if you are interested in transferring your super 8 film.
