Every third Wednesday of the month The Revival House presents the best in homo-grown cinema from decades past. Specializing in the unique, rare and obscure we screen long-forgotten Hollywood and Foreign flix, art-house hits, and erotic screen gems by directors such as Derek Jarman, Bruce La Bruce, Fred Halsted, and Robert Altman.
Our spectacular, two-night "double-feature" concludes tonight with a screening of the gorgeous, soft-core epic Pink Narcissus (U.S., 1971). Shot and directed over a seven year period by celebrated physique photographer, James Bidgood, Pink Narcissus follows the sexual fantasies of Bobby Kendall as they come to life around him.
Bidgood's lush camera work and set decoration has been a direct influence on contemporary art duo and couple, Pierre et Gilles. If you love their work, you will lust "Pink Narcissus"!
Doors open at 7:00. Screening begins at 8:00. Admission is $6.00 for single features and $8.00 for the special, two-night "double-feature".
