Celebrating 25 years of experimental media!
Artists’ Television Access was founded in 1984 by a group of young, radical artists and activists committed to using video, performance, art and education to progressing culture and community. ATA continues to provide a community venue for independent and experimental artists in its Mission District storefront gallery. Over the past 25 years, ATA has presented thousands of film and video screenings, performances, open and curated screenings, gallery exhibitions and workshops. We have had the privilege of seeing experimental film and video grow and change and we look forward to seeing what the next 25 years holds in store for this community.
Join us on Friday, December 11th and and Sunday, December 13th as we celebrate ATA’s 25th anniversary with a special film screening and live music event. More details will be posted soon.
In the meantime, check out the History of ATA site to find out a little more about us.
Donate to ATA
ATA relies on the support of its community. As a volunteer-run organization, the majority of money that comes in goes directly to supporting ATA’s dynamic programs like the monthly open screening program, Global Undergrounds, the annual Film & Video Festival and all the great guest-curated programs that come through ATA’s door throughout the year.
Donate $25 in honor of ATA’s 25th anniversary. Or $2500 to ensure 25 more years of experimental art and cinema!
