Artists' Television Access

Support the Tropes

Thursday, January 24, 2019, 8:00 pm, $7-$10

This open call is for a night of video art highlighting the diverse ways MFA students are using video and film in our art practices. This show creates as an opportunity for us all to come together, fostering the greater community of Bay Area MFAs, while at the same time allowing our works to be seen in the greater artistic world outside of our programs.

Specifics: Any works created during your time as an MFA student which include video are allowed, of any length up to 10 minutes. Collaborations and performances which include video are also welcome as long as they fit the constraints of the space. Multiple works from the same artist are also welcome. The entire show will be a length of 1-2 hours, and will be curated in order to show the maximum number of artists.

Entries are limited to current MFA visual art students from Bay Area institutions: SFSU, Mills, Stanford, Cal, SJSU, CCA, and SFAI. Entries from other disciplines and schools may be considered with special permission.
