Kveto Hecko is a writer, director, producer and editor of films that deal with the various art forms: visual art, performance, theatre, photography, set design, architecture, music and even film itself. He offers a filmmaker’s point of view that goes far beyond the objective depiction of art, steps into the process of creation to enhance or transform the original artifacts, and collaborates closely with artists on the final filmic art form. His films use different film techniques and mix various film genres. Kveto Hecko comes from the former Czechoslovakia where he studied film at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.
