ATA flier for realArtist Television Access presents a unique night of short films by the very artists that help make our organization possible. We’ll be showcasing an eclectic arrangement of work by ATA members past and present. 8-bit soundtracks, mix-media dialogues, medieval ‘apple knocking’ , night-vision basement punk shows, VHS rap video mash-ups, San Francisco fog and Mary Lou Williams, and time traveling cows trying to stop robot takeovers (in super-8!) –truly a night not to be missed!

Artists’ Television Access is a San Francisco-based, artist-run, non-profit organization that cultivates and promotes culturally-aware, underground media and experimental art. We provide an accessible screening venue and gallery for the presentation of programmed and guest-curated screenings, exhibitions, performances, workshops and events. We believe in fostering a supportive community for the exhibition of innovative art and the exchange of non-conformist ideas.

Artists’ Television Access (ATA) is now celebrating its 30th year as the home for accessible alternative arts in San Francisco. Over the past 30 years, ATA has presented thousands of cutting-edge, free and low-cost film and video screenings, performances, open and curated screenings, gallery exhibitions and workshops.

Join us from September to December 2014 as we celebrate ATA’s 30th anniversary with special programming, including a 30-hour Movie Marathon, Open Screening Retrospective, selections from the Artists’ Television (ATV) Video Archive, exhibitions, workshops, and more!
