Artists’ Television Access is a San Francisco-based, artist-run, non-profit organization that cultivates and promotes culturally-aware, underground media and experimental art. We provide an accessible screening venue and gallery for the presentation of programmed and guest-curated screenings, exhibitions, performances, workshops and events. We believe in fostering a supportive community for the exhibition of innovative art and the exchange of non-conformist ideas.
San Francisco based artist Evan Caminiti presents new work for modular synthesizer. Stuttering melodies pierce walls of noise and hypnotic rhythms drift into the ether.
Danny Paul Grody is a solo musician and founding member of San Francisco based bands Tarentel, The Drift and Moholy-Nagy. He is a self taught guitarist, and the melodies at the core of Danny’s songwriting bring to mind his love of West African kora, Takoma style fingerpicking and all things minimal, repetitive & hypnotic.
Trevor Montgomery may be found under the musical guises of : Young Moon, Isidore Ducasse , Lazarus, Believer, Moholy Nagy, Tarentel, and the Drift. Hailing from San Francisco delving in espresso, mosaics , and Asana. He cites film , love , and romanticism as his calling to the making of sound.
Paul Clipson works primarily on Super 8 & 16mm celluloid, collaborating on films, performances and installations with sound artists and musicians. His films attempt to bring to light subconscious preoccupations that reveal themselves while being immersed in a visual exploration of the moment, where simultaneous, multiple layers of images allow for un-thought, unexpected elements to reveal themselves.
