Artists’ Television Access is a San Francisco-based, artist-run, non-profit organization that cultivates and promotes culturally-aware, underground media and experimental art. We provide an accessible screening venue and gallery for the presentation of programmed and guest-curated screenings, exhibitions, performances, workshops and events. We believe in fostering a supportive community for the exhibition of innovative art and the exchange of non-conformist ideas.
The small club live show is the driving force behind independent music. It’s where new bands are discovered and passionate music is experienced.
THERE IS NOTHING OUT HERE is a concert-film that shines a light on the talent, variety and passion that can be discovered from within a local music scene.
Recorded over a two-year period, from bands past and present, the concert-film features a collection of live, full-song performances from music that’s been thriving out of San Diego in recent years.
Wrapped in images from the deserts of San Diego to the ocean, ‘There Is Nothing Out Here’ is a festival of passionate music.
“There’s certainly certain towns that, for some reason or another, lend themselves to producing really good music. …and San Diego is one of them.”

Volunteer with ATA!
ATA is looking for volunteers to help with our Gallery and our Screenings. Volunteers run screenings, organize events, curate shows, and get stuff done. Volunteers can come to any ATA show for free. We need people who are creative, reliable, and willing to commit to 4 hours a week.
