Join Animal Rights Direct Action Coalition for a night of ALF appreciation. Through two essential short- films to the animal rights diet we will look into the world of those who truly fight for a more compassionate world.
“Animal Liberation the Movie” plunges viewers into the secret world of the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). Follow ALF members as they raid research laboratories and factory farms to rescue animals destined for torture and death. Created by members of the ALF in Britain, the film examines the history of the organization, as well as its mission and tactics. (approximately 1/2 hour)
“Angels of Mercy” tells the story of Animal Liberation Front volunteer Keith Mann. Following his arrest for an unsuccessful attempt to burn several trucks associated with an egg processing plant, Keith Mann escaped police custody and went on the run with his girlfriend Angela Hamp, also facing animal liberation related charges. This is their story. (approximately 1/2 hour)
